About Meadow
Our Story
In early 2023, stunned and dismayed by the impact of the 2022 Dobbs decision, several women with experience in business, medicine, fundraising and non-profit management joined forces to fight back. We established Meadow Health and Wellness to expand access to high quality, compassionate reproductive health care for Virginians and others from abortion restricted states. Our journey began.
We expanded our leadership to include talented young Virginians, diverse in their backgrounds and career experience including health policy, communications, grassroots organizing and fundraising. After a year struggling to find a landlord willing to open their doors, we secured a lease in Tysons Corner easily accessible from DCA and IAD by car or Metro.
Together, we have established a new reproductive clinic - the first new abortion clinic Northern Virginia in over a decade, offering full service reproductive healthcare including abortions.
Thank you for being a part of our exciting and rewarding journey.
Meet Our Medical Director
Dr. Jessica Rubino
"I approach patient care with the priority of ensuring each person feels seen and heard. I love and respect the differences all of us have. While I enjoy a variety of aspects of family medicine, I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQIA patients to ensure all of their healthcare needs are met. My biggest areas of expertise are in family planning, contraception, STI care, and HIV prevention."
